It’s official: Henry Golding and Liv Lo are parents! On Monday evening, the Crazy Rich Asians actor and fitness entrepreneur revealed the exciting news on Instagram, sharing that they had welcomed their first child on March 31. “This woman right here. Beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Your strength brought us our greatest joy. Thank you, I love you â¥ï¸,” Henry wrote alongside a sweet photo of the new family of three. Liv shared a series of photos of her at the hospital, including an adorable close-up shot of the newborn, writing, “On March 31st our lives changed forever.”
Liv also went on to share her postpartum plans, which she detailed in a blog post on her site, FitSphere. “40 days, or about 6 weeks postpartum, is the first postpartum exam with your OBGYN,” she wrote, while 39 weeks pregnant. “Until this clearance happens I am not keen to get back to work or sharing with the world how I am feeling. This may come as a shock or disappointment; however, in my self-reflection, it has become clear that I need to set these boundaries for myself and my family.”
The couple first met on New Year’s Eve in 2010, and basically fell in love at first sight. The two eventually tied the knot in 2016, and back in November, announced they were expecting their first child together. Congratulations to the happy couple!
Behind Her Eyes star Eve Hewson appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show on March 1 and let viewers in on a little secret: she almost gave up acting for good. “I had a funny moment where I was auditioning for a lot of things, and I was just really tired of auditioning to play the girlfriend with boobs to be perfectly honest,” she told Clarkson. “I wasn’t interested in the roles that were out there. I didn’t like it. A lot of the roles were there to serve the man in the story or please a male audience. I just felt like, ‘I love acting, but do I love it enough to really want to put myself in these shoes?'”
She went on to explain the moment in her career that became the turning point for her, a book-to-TV adaptation called The Luminaries. “I almost gave up, and then #MeToo happened, and I read the script for The Luminaries, and it was this incredible female protagonist going through the same themes – she was fighting the same themes that I was fighting in my career,” Hewson said. “It was so interesting and such a wonderful opportunity, and I thought, ‘OK, maybe I shouldn’t quit, maybe I should give this a try and see where it goes.'” She added: “I ended up having this magical sort of romance, falling in love with acting again on this show, so [The Luminaries] means a lot to me for that reason.”

I’m pretty sure Aly & AJ’s “Potential Breakup Song” has been on every party/road trip/sleepover playlist I’ve had since middle school. I screamed “my stupid birthday” when the song played on Radio Disney (RIP) at the tender age of 11, mourning boyfriends I never had. Flash forward 14 years later, and I’m happily married, but still belting along to more adult lyrics. Thank heavens for the explicit remix, “my f*cking birthday” just hits different.
Aly and AJ Michalka dropped their updated song on Dec. 30 – the most appropriate send-off for 2020, wouldn’t you say? Of course, what the people really want (read: I’m the people) is a live performance, and oh, did they deliver. For New Year’s Eve, the sisters brought their song to the TikTok masses with an exciting virtual gig.
Their video starts with an a cappella rendition of the sisters’ song “Slow Dancing” before transitioning into the nostalgic 2007 track. Matching in sparkling suits, Aly and AJ deliver exactly what their grown-up audience wants. They carry the same electric energy from two decades of performing but with mature, sophisticated angst. I expect we’ll see even more of these vibes in their upcoming album this year. For now, enjoy the full video above.
At long last, there’s finally one thing we can all celebrate: 2020 coming to an end. If you still need New Year’s Eve plans, Amazon Prime Video has the perfect way to round out this unbelievable year: its new original comedy special Yearly Departed. Featuring a lineup of some of the funniest women on the planet – including the ever-iconic Tiffany Haddish and the hysterical Ziwe – the memorial special showcases a series of very cathartic eulogies for the year 2020.
Ahead of the special, which is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, we chatted with some of the stars to see how they managed to make it through this extremely trying year. Read ahead for their hilarious yet relatable anecdotes, and join us in saying good riddance to 2020.
Well, folks, it looks like Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are indeed a couple! On Christmas Eve, the duo were spotted holding hands while heading to a catamaran sunset cruise in RiRi’s native Barbados. According to People, the rapper arrived at the Caribbean island on Dec. 23 to meet with the Fenty Beauty founder, who had already been there for a week. “Rihanna has been in Barbados since [last] Thursday,” a source told the outlet. “A$AP joined her and they are spending Christmas together with Rihanna’s family.” It’s reportedly their first Christmas as a couple.
Their holiday outing came nearly four weeks after People exclusively revealed that the longtime friends were dating. “They’ve been inseparable the past few weeks,” a source confirmed to the publication. “It’s a new relationship, but they both seem very into it. They’ve always seemed to have a great time together. They have a lot in common. They both are very much about helping out in the communities where they grew up A$AP is generous, and so is Rihanna. A$AP is known for being a great guy. Rihanna seems very happy dating A$AP.”
While Rihanna previously dated businessman Hassan Jameel, whom she split from in January, A$AP was previously linked to Kendall Jenner in 2017 and model Daiane Sodré in 2019. It appears as though Rihanna and A$AP’s friendship – as well as their frequent collaborations, including their 2012 song “Cockiness,” the music video for A$AP’s 2013 track “Fashion Killa,” and Rihanna’s Fenty Skin campaign from this past July – has led to a romantic spark. Let’s just see if they officially confirm their relationship [insert glancing eyes emoji].
